Hi, I'm Mickey Smart, and I'm the Open Learning program Counsellor. If you are in the Open Learning program and have questions about course selection, registration deadlines, University of Guelph policies and procedures as they apply to you, or just general information about who to contact for what, you can talk to me.
Phone me at 519 824-4120 x 56050
or send me an email at email@example.com.
Getting Your Library ID Card
Once you're registered in the Open Learning program at Guelph, you're entitled to borrow books at either the University of Guelph or at any other university that has a "reciprocal borrowing privileges" agreement with us.
If your course has materials provided by this office, you will receive your library card with these materials. If your course does not have course materials provided by this office, your library card will be mailed to you during the second week of classes.
If you have any difficulties with your borrowing privileges, or if you'd like to borrow books from the University of Toronto, contact the University of Guelph Library by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our library is committed to helping you access resources at a distance.
Policies and Procedures
If you are a University of Guelph Degree Student, please consult the Undergraduate Calendar.
If you are an Open Learning program student, please consult the Open Learning Program Handbook. If you wish to have a copy of the Open Learning Program Student Handbook mailed to you, please click here, and provide us with your full mailing address.
Studying online away from campus can seem a bit intimidating, especially if you're not sure where to go for help when you need it.
