We are pleased to inform you that Teaching Support Services (TSS) and the Office of Open Learning (OOL) have come together under the name Open Learning and Educational Support, in order to serve you better. Under the new banner of Open Learning and Educational Support, we wish to reaffirm our continual commitment to working towards enhancing the quality of teaching and learning on campus. Currently, we provide support in three key areas:
Whether you have a question about how to use a particular piece of classroom technology, how to form online discussion groups, how to design an effective assessment tool, or how to create an effective teaching dossier, we are here to help.
We also offer a well-stocked Teaching Resource Centre, videoconference facility, and learning technology lab located in Day Hall. Our staff is recognized across campus and throughout Canada for its expertise, creativity, humour, and practical approach for dealing with teaching and learning challenges.
We hope that you find our interim website informative. While browsing our website, you may at times be directed to the original TSS website. We appreciate your patience with our temporary site as we take the time to build our new brand identity, and a more comprehensive website that will better serve our community.
